  Waking up, in a cozy queen size bed, to the first morning sun - opening the doors to the balcony of the bedroom in the second floor, overlooking pristine nature, the sound of the water flowing below, watching the famers already on their way to work the fields - we always feel as admiring a beautiful Balinese painting that has come to life. The accommodation's highlight is an open plan living room and dining area on the lower floor with spectacular views over the green fields and farmland of Sidemen valley. A carved antique wooden door gives access to the attached semi open bathroom with modern facilities, a rain shower and selected organic bathroom essentials. A unique, barn-like, staircase leads to the bedroom on the upper floor featuring a queen size bed under the wonderfully arched, with natural rice grass thatched roof. The traditional architecture allows the space to breath naturally and takes advantage of the almost constant cool breeze in Sidemen. Combined with polished cement floors and an overall open design we don't need artificial air conditioning, allowing us to even further to reduce our carbon footprint. Picturesque views from the bed and the balcony over Sidemen Valley and the mountain ridge to the east will spoil your senses in the mornings when you wake up with the rising sun.
